Metal-free plastic urine container or metal-free transport tube
Collection
Collect all urine voids for a 24-hour period into a single metal-free or acid-washed container. Indicate the total 24-hour urine volume on test requisition. Mix well and transfer an aliquot of urine to a metal-free transport tube.
Storage Instructions
Submission/transport (<3 days): Room temperature. For storage beyond three days, specimen should be refrigerated or frozen.
